I had this place saved to my Yelp board and it did not disappoint! I gotta let you all know...I don't know what an authentic "spicy chicken rice bowl" is supposed to taste like, but this right here was FREAKING AWESOME and I LOVED IT! That Passion fruit yogurt OMG-awesomeness! I ordered my plate to go and am walking out empty handed!
Yes the HIGHLIGHT OF MY DAY is you Red Bowl- thank you!
I'm gonna go home and sleep like a baby now lol

I frequently use yelp to help me choose and have had much success! Today I wanted to try a place we hadn't been to.
1) Dumplings in Chili Oil - These we just okay nothing special. 2) Spicy Chicken with Rice Noodles - Chicken looked resembled over-done beef, and had a burned taste, not sure it was chicken. 3) Hot and Sour Crystal Noodles - Disgustingly greasy. This dish left a film on my tongue that I couldn't shake for 30 minutes. When asked how the meal was, "Not good" I responded and provided a quick explanation. The waiter didn't blink an eye - I guess they already knew!
Ascetically Red Bowl pleases. It appeared clean and tidy.
Styrofoam cups for water ?
Bottom line - I realize that I only had 1 experience at Red Bowl, but unlike baseball . . . 2 strikes and a fowl = OUT -

Let's say a 4.5 out of 5!
I'll be honest, I would not have chosen this restaurant just on location itself. It's a hole in the wall but I was pleasantly surprised!
It's not a sit down restaurant. You order at the counter and they bring out your food. It is awkward to "leave" a tip at counter but the service was pretty good.
I had the Dan Dan noodles. It was very tasty. I can handle spicy food and this had a kick to it. You can order whatever heat you prefer. My husband and friend got the braised short ribs and both very happy with their meals.
It's definitely worth a visit! -

Well, as usual for me, Red Bowl was the second option. The first option was packed and was closing soon. So...back to Yelp and finding a lunch spot.
I chose Red Bowl because of its rating and a few of the photos posted. As they say, a picture is worth a 1000 words.
DO NOT JUDGE THIS BOOK BY ITS COVER. It is ticked into a corner of a strip mall, and it isnt in the best area of town...sounds like a place for me. My wife and 2 sons were with me, and I was getting strange looks from them as I assured them this was lunch.
We entered and the woman behind the counter said for us to order at the counter. The boys were lost. Out of their comfort zone. My wife and I were glad there were pictures, and that is how we ordered our meals.
We ordered Fish Tofu, Dumplings in chili oil, Ground Pork Ramen, White Rice with braised Pork, Braised Pork with Rice noodle and Hot Sour Glass Noodle.
This was the most amazing meal we have had. Each of the 3 broths were different, complex and delightful. My sons white rice was perfectly cooked, the braised pork belly was insanely well prepared and the baby portabella mushrooms impeccable.
The restaurant is an hour away from our home, but we are already making plans to return.
Well done Red Bowl, well done. -

Red Bowl was my pick for my monthly lunch with 2 bffs, and I normally pick an ethnic restaurant. No one was disappointed. We all ordered ramen, mine spicy beef. They ask you how hot, as in mild, medium, or hot. Just as an fyi in case you come here, and you should, the hot is not too hot. The ramen was so nice and chewy, and stayed that way until throughout the whole bowl. It was delicious, and a generous serving. We shared some appetizers, the spicy dumplings in chili oil, Calamari, and egg rolls. They were just okay, and the Calamari was subpar. The menu had lots of tempting choices, so I'll have to return.
